Matthieu Lakes

July 29, 2018. A very warm day was expected, so only one person signed up. But she was bringing a carful of seven people: a Corvallis family including four daughters plus a friend. A good hike plus swimming in TWO lakes: what a good use for a warm July day! We hiked through a lot of forest fire damage, but not around either Matthieu Lake. Guests Avery and Justin Briggs, their daughters Bella, Emmy, Ella, and Mollie Briggs, and Kianna Johnston, and leader George Struble.
