Dome Rock and Tumble Lake

July 22, 2018. We five women had Tumble Lake all to ourselves on this warm, sunny day in July. After going to the top of Dome, we made our way down the rough path to the lake. Since I was last there, some dear trail folks had rerouted the worst of the trail. A lovely change.
We lunched in the shade by the deep blue-green lake before we kicked off our boots and made for the water. The steep, up-hill trudge out of the lake basin took care of any wet clothes.
I don't know who invited the biting flies. No bueno! Hikers were: Lynnette Olesen, Roz Shirack, Becky Hickox, Vicki Kimpton and Mary Coleman, ldr.
