We Were There: Santiam Wagon Road -- October 20, 2018

We had a gorgeous October day for a gorgeous hike. The House Rock Campground was closed for the season, so instead of starting there, we started where the trail crosses the Santiam River. We hiked up Sevenmile Hill (but not seven miles) to the knoll recommended by Bill Sullivan – a perfect lunch spot. After returning to our cars, we hiked the other direction, to House Rock Falls.
