Shellburg Falls

We left the fog of Salem to find minimal fog at the trailhead and soon after we were in the sunshine. We had a pleasant hike including seeing a spraybow at Shellburg Falls, Stassel Falls, and a newt. After doing about 5 miles or so we drove into Lyons to take a short hike at the city park where we saw some mallards, blue heron, and buffleheads, an usual low number of birds for that site.
