Salem 5-Parks Loop - March 13

We had a cool, but sunny morning for this nearly 6-mile walk. We started at Bush Park then walked through neighborhoods to Minto-Brown Island Park. We did a small loop there, then hiked up the ridge on a secret path, crossed some downed timber, and arrived in Fairmount Park. From there we walked through neighborhoods back to Bush Park; walked a loop around Deepwood Gardens Park; walked a loop around Pringle Park; and back to our start at Bush Park. Salem explorers were Martin Doerfler, Pam Ferrara, guest Lynnae Ruttledge, and leader Roz Shirack.
