A wonderful sunny warm day in the coast range Saturday may 11 ,eight stalwart hikers ascended the 3283 foot high peak, the second highest in the Oregon coast range. A variety of wildflowers treated us. We had lunch with an unbeatable views of several Cascade peaks from Rainier to Hood and portion of the Columbia River. hikers included Joanne Schindler, Tom Davis, Deanna Davis, Christine Young, Joe Cover, Lynnette Olesen, Sarah Boomer and trip leader Mark Olson.
