Four Chemeketans enjoyed 9-mile out-and-back hike to Pup Creek Falls on the Clackamas River trail from the Indian Henry trailhead. A mostly dry day with intermittent light rain in the afternoon. The waterfall was beautiful with the lichen and spring greenery, as were the trail’s old growth, river’s Narrows, Cat and Pup creeks and mossy weeping rocks. Among the blooms: bleeding heart, dogwood, fairy lantern, iris, paintbrush, rhododendron, thimbleberry, wild ginger, windflower.
