Mt Hebo Hike - July 20, 2019

Clear and mild weather made it a perfect day to hike up the Pioneer-Indian Trail through a lovely stretch of coastal woodland and Douglas fir forest. A car shuttle eliminated the slog up an asphalt road on the last 1/4 mile to the top of Mt Hebo. We had a leisurely lunch while admiring the ocean view and watching a butterfly who appeared to be enthralled with Ellie (Collier). Other hikers were Joanne Schiedler, Margarita Nunez, Sandi & Peter Simons, and leader Becky Hickox.
