Thanks to our driver's GPS we found the trailhead on the second pass and got started hiking pretty much on time. The trail has spectacular flower covered alpine meadows and amazing views much of the way. From the summit we could see from Mt. Hood to Diamond Peak. On our return we made a quick stop for ice cream at the Idanha store. Hikers were: Rochelle Gerret, Kayleen Wagner,Jason McHuff, Rick Cooper,driver,and John Huff ldr.
