Perimeter Trail Hike - August 7, 2019

Thirteen of us hiked the Perimeter Trail at Silver Falls Park. During the hike we encountered only one other hiker! It was pleasant to have the lush forest trail with streams running through it all to ourselves! While we were having lunch 5 ladies rode up on horseback from an adjoining trail and chatted with us. We enjoyed refreshments at Dairy Queen in Stayton afterwards. Hikers were Diane Mitchell, Martin Doerfler, Jill Wilson, Aline Borthey, Becky Hilkey, Rosanna Wilson, Susan Hoskins, Marcia Kenagy, qualifiers Gloria Koenig, Linda Ritz, Lisa Paluska, Karin Shinn and leader - Beverly Hassell.
