Our walk at Willamette Mission State Park was the very first Chemeketan-sponsored event in 15 months! It was a lovely sunny morning and everything was green after days of welcome rain. We saw only a few other people. After walking, we accompanied Vicky on the Wheatland Ferry, as she was parked on the other side of the river. As we rode back to the east side to our own cars, we could see an osprey on the nest. We were delighted that Rigo joined us; it was his first Chemeketan activity and he's looking forward to becoming a member and to Climb School. Participants were members Christene Bennett, Martin Doerfler, Vicky Wilbanks, guest Rigo Lopez, and leader Elizabeth Seibert.
