Seven Chemeketans (one brand-new: welcome, Ron!) had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful leaves and interesting mushrooms along Willamette Greenway area at Spring Valley trail.  Many were thrilled just to be back hiking with the club after a long dry spell, and spirits were high despite the chilly rain showers.  In fact, so reluctant was the group to leave that we all had a snack at the wet picnic table in the spitty rain at the end of the trail.  (It's not a hike unless you eat or pee during the trip.) Hikers were Nadine Le Cheminant, Emily Wieczorek, Mary Elliott, Ron Wright, Rosamund Irwin, Ric LaTour and Susan LaTour, leader.
