God's Thumb Hike

We had great weather as we commenced at the Villages trailhead. We walked the road to Roads End park then up the beach to the God's Thumb trail. With the recent dry weather the trail was in good condition and we all made it up the Thumb. After enjoying the views we made our way to the high meadow and on to the Knoll. There are now interpretive signs and some trail improvements since last hiking there. We went to the 60s Diner for treats after the hike. Participants were: Bill Nelson, Tom Burke, Jim Rastorfer, Jean Gabriel, Lee Slattum, Ken Ash, and John Huff ldr.
