Seven walkers took advantage of the morning sun before the predicted rain to explore the south end of Minto Brown Island and Eola Bend County Park. We were delighted to welcome prospective members Rachel Nelson, Missy Sturgeon, and Kelli Vesper (a former member from long ago). The rest of the group included Robert Roner, Susan Proffitt, Jane Maute, and leader Becky Hickox. After the 5-mile loop, five of us enjoyed lunch outside at Lively Station while the clouds moved in. The first rain drops hit the windshield on the way home. Perfect timing!
