Despite a forecast of 90% rain and a high of only 48ºF, 7 hikers plus 1 leader set off through Milo McIver State Park on the Riverbend Trail. We did have one brief period of rain and a small bit of hail, but we also saw sunshine and had a mostly dry hike (not counting the mud already on the trail). We squished, splashed, and slid our way through almost 7 miles and ended up with everyone we started with. Hikers were Matt Rieke, Nadene LeCheminant, Kathleen Hynes, Chris O'Brien, Elizabeth Peters, Trish Rossitto, and Sally Peacock (who was doing her 2nd qualifying hike) with leader Sandra Martin.
