Silver Creek Falls

Despite a rainy forecast, four of us cheerfully enjoyed a fabulous hike at Silver Creek Falls. Two of our hikers had never seen the falls before-they were in for a treat! The leader shared that she had never seen so much water coming over the falls and there were several side falls, which normally do not exist. Silver Creek had even flowed onto the trail at one point. We did get wet (from the falls and from the skies) and even had a bit of hail. Nothing dampened our spirits though! We were rewarded by incredible views of the falls. Our cheerful group included members Kelli Vesper, Suzanne Strite with Michael Brown, completing his second qualifying hike. Leader was Debra Dawes.
