Rooster Rock isn't easy, but everyone cheerfully hiked up and up 2300' until we reached the rocky little summit with it's rewarding view of The Sisters. Our lunch in shirtsleeves in the sun seemed like a dream come true after this very wet, chilly spring. Five members had never been to the top of Rooster before: Sandra Martin, Susan Wilson, Elaine Kruger-Young, Steve Engler and Sue Engler. We others were glad we made it once again: Kathleen Hynes, Chris O'Brien and leader Elizabeth Seibert.
