Large displays of wildflowers greeted us in the meadows, especially purple larkspur, yellow monkey flower and stone crop, and blue-eyed Marys. Views from Mt Hood to Diamond Peak from the summit deck were great in the clear air. Hikers were Joanne Schiedler, Rick Cooper, Nancy Rockwell, Blanka Truneckova, Elly Collier, Nadene LeCheminant, Bruce Patterson, Elizabeth Seibert, Steve and Sue Engler, and leader Roz Shirack.
