Starting at the ferry crossing, we walked a loop that took us by the history display, good views of Mission Lake (including a heron that posed for us), and the nation's largest black cottonwood. At Robert Roner's suggestion we ended by taking a free ride on the ferry over the Willamette and back. Other walkers with leader Becky Hickox were Dianna Upton, Marie Flores, Sandra Martin, and brand new member Delmy Edwards.
