Leader, Georgienne Young was joined by one guest, Jo Moore (her sister) and new member Mary Wohlken.
The morning of the hot day was warming quickly but still comfortable as we began our walk at Dallas City Park for the four mile loop along Rickreall Creek and the town streets. On the creek we saw a number of Green Herons and it was fun to view the pretty summer flower gardens as we walked.
The stop at New Morning Bakery along the way, visit to the quilt shop, the lovely Court House and Carnegie Library led us back to the park.
After such a rigorous walk it was then time to make a final stop at "Dreamies Creamery" for delicious sheep's milk ice cream.
