Twelve Chemeketans enjoyed a gorgeous fall hike around Clear Lake with blue skies and colorful fall foliage. The lake was the star attraction, but we also stopped to admire the old-growth trees in the forested stretches of trail. The view of the Three Sisters with new snow was also a treat. We completed the hike, then sat on the sunny side of the cafe & dock for lunch, augmented with treats from the cafe. Hikers were Jim Rastorfer, Nanci Chambers, Sumon Montri, Mady Kimmich, Susi Rose, Debra Dawes, Marie Flores, Ashley Sorg, Steve Engler, Marcia Kenagy, Jill Wilson and leader Roz Shirack. The Sahalie Falls trail is still closed from wildfires, so we skipped it this time.
