WE will start from Conner‘s Camp parking and ascend to the Observation parking through forest and wildflowers. We can then choose a direct walk to the summit or a slightly longer trail through the meadow. Bring lunch, boots and maybe hiking poles.

The Cone Peak and Iron Mt. loop trail is an annual favorite for wildflowers, but also offers old growth forest and mountain views. Trail is very rocky in places so wear good boots. Be prepared for some lingering snow patches near the top of Iron Mt.
